Playing with Dye and Bleach

I have been messing around with dye and bleach and I think I might have the dip dye/ombre down...... I have made a few shirts but I still have a long way to go!!! I took a floral thermal and dyed the bottom blue and the top pink and I think it came out pretty cool..... The Snoop Dog (TrueBlood) shirt was twisted and sprayed with bleach to create that pattern on the fabric.......

King Louie - My Hoes They Do Drugs Ft. Juicy J & Pusha T!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a huge hiphop fan and I think I have a new music crush...... King Louie is a Chicago rapper and he is known for his honest and rugged delivery. King Louie recieved a shout out from K.West in the remix of I Don't Like and that has helped him to build a  even larger fan base. Currently I have been listening to his mixtape Drilluminati and I really like the songs My Hoes They Do Drug and My Niggaz...... this is not your average radio bullshit but some real honest grimey stuff so be ready......

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have really mastered their craft and keep taking their Elizabeth and James clothing line to the next level. I love the mix of their personal style, current trends, and fashion forward ideas that they mix together to create their collection. Ombre Sweatshirt DIY

Soooooo we have been getting a lot of dip dyed and ombre inspired sweatshirts and hoodies at work. When I see this stuff at work I always feel like I can do this at home...... Soooo here is my first try at Ombre! I soaked the bottom portion of the sweatshirt in the dye for about 45 min and the color slowly moved up the fabric. Next time I know to leave it in longer to make it darker and allow the color to transfer up the sweatshirt more! What do you think???? I also did a old Madonna shirt...... Any thoughts????? My next project is silk printing and bleaching..... After that my own custom shirts!!!!

Madewell Keds Collaboration

Madewell has done another awesome shoe collab with Keds!! The shoes are super cute and are a great representation of Madewell and Keds. The shoes will be ready for purchase Jan 29 and will range from $62~$75 ( $75 for high tops)!!! Leather Shoulder Hoodie

My new fav item right now is my leather shoulder hoodie!!!! I love love love her!!! I have been chasing this item for a while and we recieved a few at the store yesterday! My next hoodie I need is the leather sleeve version but I have not found a nice one that is under $150!  What do you guys think?????? If you like it you can get it at Forever 21 and it was only $19.80.....

I just read a great interview from my FAVVVVVV stylist Rachel Zoe! I might not have any kids but I love how she explains how her son changed her style and made her a calmer person. Rachel Zoe is the best stylist in the game and she knows how to make a women's body look great!!! Also..... Currently at work [ Forever 21] we are having extra 50% off all clearance merchandise. Wellllll the company thought it would be great for the customers if we did a massive markdown tuesday to help with the sale for the holiday weekend. Sooooo...... I was very lucky to buy a few things I have had my eye on for a while and I only paid $15 for all three items!!! Each item was between $3 to $5 and I love my new stuff!!!! Alexander McQueen Cancels Fall 2013 Show!!!

There will be NO Alexander McQueen Fall 2013 fashion show this year!! Every season I look forward to watching this runway show because I know it will be a big production. The head designer Sarah Burton is on maternity leave and the show has to be canceled. I guess all the buyers and retail analyst will have to wait until March 5 to see some of the new clothes!

Right before Christmas we recieved a $150 leather jacket at my forever 21 store and I instantly loved it!!! The jacket was everything I wanted in a studded leather jacket but I was not going to pay Forever 21 $150 for a jacket. Wellllll........ this week we marked the jacket down to $75 and guess what we are having at all of our stores this weekend?????? EXTRA 50% off clearance!!!! Sooooo in other words I will get my jacket for $37......... I love being a bargain shopper!!!!
