YSL Capsule Collection by Claire Boucher (Grimes)

I can not say I am a fan or even know a lot about the designer Claire Boucher but I can say that her shirts are dope!!!! I love the way she incorporated the YSL logo into a few of her shirts and i feel like these shirts are not just for men!!!! Her art school background is obvious in her designs and it really shows her creative side. The tees are a little up there in price and range from $320 to $350 depending on the design. Beyonce's Custom Isabel Marant Sneaker

Sooooo..... A few days ago PMK Customs redesigned the Isabel Marant sneaker wedge and gave it a more "King B" makeover. The problem is the company used a lot of diffrent animals ( ostrich, calf hair, stingray, crocodile, & anaconda) for the shoes and a lot of people are not happy..... Ex: PETA! PETA has been after Beyonce for a while and they released a formal statement  today. Personally I think the shoes are a little overkill with all of the diffrent animals used but she likes luxury and that is what she represents..... The shoes are dope but the sneaker wedge is dead..... Next trend please!!!!

This woman has come a long way since her debut at 16!!! I love that she owns everything she does, is a trendstarter, and a fashion killa ( in my Asap Rocky voice)!!!! I hope her music keeps growing and she shows the fashion world that she is not going anywhere but up with her new clothing line! Also, peep out her new MAC cosmetics line!!!!! En Noir NYC Fashion Week Debut

Currently I am obsessed with En Noir right now!! I love the edgy darkness of the clothing and I believe that "some" women will be able to turn this menswear line into dope outfit. A lot of hiphop artist and NBA Ballers are all about this line right now but that is just a very small reason why this line is getting all of the praise they are getting right now. Rihanna River Island Fashion Show

Sooooo Rihanna debuted her line for River Island over the weekend and all I can say is damnnnnnn...... Where should i start..... First the music was dope if you are a hiphop fan (which i am) but it felt like it overshadowed the runway show. The clothes seemed fun and i can see Rihanna in every aspect of her clothes. The problem i had was that the clothes are very skimpy and a lot if pieces are not wearable (unless you are at a club or stripping at one). I did like her presentation and I think the next show she does will be even better. Hopefully she will take her ideas to the next level because a lot of her clothes did not seem fashion firward but current styles instead. I hope her clothes sell well when they hit the shelves on March 5th!!!

Converse Relaunches Classic 1970's Sneakers

Converse has reissued a collection of sneakers from their Chuck Taylor All Star Vault. The shoes feature high rubber ridges and a wider curve at the toe. These shoes are old school and many celebrities sported these sneakers in the 70's. The shoes will retail for $70 and there will be a few color options. I have attached the article..... DKNY | Fall Winter 2013/2014 Full Fashion Show | Exclusive

DKNY has done it again!!! they have taken street style and polished it up for fall 2013. Fabric blocking is very big in this show and I love the mix of fabrics.... leather mixed with cotton is the new combination that is going to be BIG in the Fall!!!! The show gave me a edgy 90's grunge feeling with the oversized sweaters and slouchy hats but still polished with the wool coats and fur. I feel like a lot of the clothes  are very wearable straight from the runway and shows me how a NYC woman really should dress in fall! I just love the NYC coolness of this show and  I really think this is my favorite fashion show so far and this is what we will see in retailers like Forever 21, H&M, Zara, and Topshop!

Marc by Marc Jacobs | Fall Winter 2013/2014

This is the full Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2013 show from NYFW! I love his looks for fall and I feel like all of his outfits and styling options are very wearable....All I can say is COLOR COLOR COLOR!!!! Oxblood, red, and burgandy are all over the place and it looks really good with other neutral pops of color like navy and even that bright blue!!!!  Take a look!!!

A few things I love from my Nashville trip....

The denim jacket is sooo dope! I found the jacket at the Pac Sun outlet at Opry Mills (nashville) and I got it for a STEAL!!!!! The jacket was only $14 and the original price was more than $50..... Pretty dope!!! The shirts are from Urban Outfitters men's sale section and I paid anywhere from $4.99 to $9.99 for them. The shirts are my next spring/summer wardrobe project. I am going to make cropped tanks and dip dye the white shirts too! I will keep you guys posted with the final outcome of the shirts!!!

Charlotte and Samantha Ronson NYFW

Charlotte Ronson has been a force in the Fashion word for a long time and her Fall 2013 line shows everyone why she is a force in the fashion industry. Charlotte is able to tell a story on the runway with her clothes and the music she chooses to use ( via her twin sister Samantha). Charlotte may not have lived in London since she was six but you can see that she knows her culture and uses that to influence her clothes. I really enjoyed the article on Elle.com..... Fabric Blocking!!!! Fall 2013 Trend!

I think I found a new trend that I LOVE!!!!!!! Fabric blocking is already taking over my store and it looks like that a lot if designers are showcasing this new trend in their Fall 2013 NYFW Shows. Kanye West in Strait Jacket

Kanye West was in Abu Dhabi a few days ago performing and he did a portion of his performance in a mask and a strait jacket.I will admit that Kanye is one of favorite rappers and in my head he can do no wrong because I feel he is a fashion icon and tredsetter. The problem I have lately is that his fashion and private life are over shadowing his music. Durring his performances he i ranting and complaining about everything and the costumes are making his music look suspect. I hope when he releases his new music it is a the level that gives real fans like myself the Kanye we need. I hope he has not lost touch with his fans, music, and fashion followers.

I am not a big Kelly Rowland Fan ( maybe bc I never liked Destiny's Child) but I really like this song Neva End that she did with Future. Future is one of the hottest rappers/singers ( he really can not sing) that is in the game right now. Future has taken the whole sing/rap combo all the way to the bank. I am not sure how long this will last but right now he is killing the game and everything he touches is turning into hits!!!
